To Do or Not To Do

I was Irish before I was a Pagan. And I don’t acknowledge St Patrick as a holy saint, as there are questions about if he actually existed at all… and he wasn’t Irish, he was English. But I’m not going to hold people accountable for what someone else did a few thousand years ago. I WILL object to people who are living now and demand one way or another that Pagans should or should not celebrate this holiday. It’s the same narrow minded attitude about Christmas.

Whether anyone celebrates ANY holiday should be left up to that individual. It’s not up to anyone else to decide if a holiday should be celebrated, who gets to celebrate it and how.

So with that, Happy St Patrick’s Day to those who celebrate it that way, Happy Irish Day for others and Happy Tuesday for those who ignore either one.
